Just wanted to make a video for the aspiring movers and shakers of the world!

There's a lot of generalized advice out there, but some of it may need to be contextualized if you have high aspirations.
If you want to know more information about the book as it comes out, you can sign up at www.hybridcalisthenics.com/newsletter
I don't send many emails so you don't have to worry about spam. Some people actually email me a few weeks afterwards because they're worried they're not getting the emails (sorry about that haha).
If you want more discussions like this, especially beyond fitness, I have a dedicated podcast to that www.youtube.com/@CoffeeWithHampton

The Misconception of "Perfect" Form
Переглядів 41 тис.14 днів тому
Just giving some thoughts on perfect form vs "intentional" form! While there are some foundational guidelines, most exercises may have more wiggle room than we may realize. An example might be elbow flare during pushups. While 30 degrees - 45 degrees is often given as a form tip, other angles may not necessarily be "wrong." They have different purposes. I don't necessarily mean this in a feel-g...
how to become damage resistant
Переглядів 252 тис.Місяць тому
Here are some ideas on how to make yourself more resistant to damage and injury! Through strengthening our weaker angles and positions, we reduce the impact of injury if we ever are forced into them (whether through exercise, accident, or other physical activity). It's notable that injury reduction through exercise is *slightly* controversial. There's some debate over what's most effective. How...
how I make money without taking sponsors (2024)

One of the biggest unintentional compliments I get is "Hampton, what do you do for a living?" Well, I don't claim to do it well, but I run Hybrid (which is technically a fitness media company). It's a compliment to me because it means our "marketing" is relatively unobtrusive and subtle so many people just enjoy our free information. I love that. However, it's helpful to make a living - especia...

Here are some things I thought I needed for fitness at first but didn't really. All of them can still be handy and wonderful for many people! However, if for some reason you really dislike them or can't do them, you have other options. Have a wonderful day! Legal Notice: Consult your doctor before beginning any kind of exercise program. I love this dude seriously he's dope
Ironically, American Football hardly involves kicking the ball..unlike 'real' football (aka soccer) :-) Anyway, very true fitness philosophy: mix it up, have fun, do what you feel, push yourself sometimes, go easy other times, focus on your own goals and stop comparing yourself with online 24/7 fitness gurus.
such positivity from this channel. I hope you never stop making videos bro, I'll support you always
"That anime character didn't have a rest day." We're not all trying to be Saitama.
Love your enthusiasm. Cheers
You have to ignore pain and abandon your happiness in order to Achieve your goal
you are good , man !!!!!! I like you !!!!!!!
First we do it by passion then it becomes frustration and you hate what you become
Great advice. I’m an ADHD adult and realizing I can’t meet my “dream” goal locks me up and I’ll do nothing.
hands down THE BEST video to teach push up to beginners....Kudos.......!!
Idk but u feel like master roshi's student
This chick is weird
Hola amigo, me encantan tus videos eres de lo mejor de internet, bien por ti! Puedes agregar subtitulos en español? Llegarías a más público. Consulta, estás en Canadá o Estados Unidos? Gracias y sigue así. Salud💪
I like how he stole all of his progressive calisthenics movements from Convict Conditioning by Paul Wade and is trying to pass it off as his own
全是支產品牌,不用細分😂
Thank you for the app, I have been looking for something that will let me start from the beginning of exercise but nothing takes it as far back as yours

my opinion is just do pushups and if you cant try until you can and then once you can hang from a pullup bar keep trying to do a pullup, I couldn't do one and then I did this and I could

Final step is painting your self as a flag.
I'm gonna log my progress here Day 1: 1 set of 50 wall push ups
Thanks now i don't have a gamer posture. Yay🎉
I mean I can very convincingly lie to people about having a twisted ankle, comes in handy sometimes.
❤ ty friend
PE traumatized me about push ups and embarrassed the hell out of me for not being able to do them with no prior training or practice. Your approach to fitness helps so much
Are there actual real humans out there that ACTUALLY wash their hair everyday? So literally every single time you take a shower you also wash your hair? Most have some DEEP DEEP hair issues if you NEED to do that. See a good well reviewed dermatologist that agrees to tests on your hair and scalp.
I wish I found you 20 years ago
Dude, you and the “StayFlexy” guy would kill in a collab, your combined workouts would be legendary. 🤘🏽
When I found your channel. I have learned a lot. I started my fitness journey, and I hope to be strong to carry patients at a Veterinary hospital by myself, in emergency cases and similar.
He's not mr.beast but he's cooler than him.
People who have never worked construction or farming think it’s healthy cause it’s ‘active’ in reality it’s loads of repetitive movements that are often awkward and when done over and over again cause long term injuries. Also the lifestyle makes that healthy eating and sleep difficult because of money, time and convenience. When I worked in a small organic veggie farm, I ate good food, but I spend loads of time either sitting on a tractor or hoeing we
people need to take electrolytes too. your muscles do not contract properly as the workout continues and muscle glycogen drops. with lower glycogen, you retain less water in the muscle cell and then retain less electrolytes which reduces peak contraction. sodium, potassium, taurine, magnesium and carbohydrates for a good workout. ESPECIALLY for endurance training.
also if you have caffeine before just be aware that it prevents sodium reabsorption in the kidneys. i always have a pinch of salt in my coffee and water throughout the day, which in total equates to 1/4tsp.
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.”
I was stretching along with the video and focusing on my exercises, and when I tuned back in to the video at 4:31, the music and his walking took me out 🤣
Fart of the shit fart of the poo
I appreciate you so much!
😂😂😂😂 not an Asian woman 😆
I recognize that voice from those personal machine thingies video add
I’m at a point where I’m not doing well in school and when I’m doing schoolwork I start to feel like what am I even doing with my life. What is the point of any of this. Will anything after this make me happier. Do I really want to spend my younger years a broke college student just to please my parents? And everyone keeps telling me to stay in school but then I am seeing friends and family and others online making more money than my estimated salary 5 years after graduating. I just don’t know how to go on from here.
close enough welcome back Jacob
Climbing heals up my shoulder pain 😊
friend, you are the best helpful fitness UA-camr, in with the guys like Noel Deyzel 👏
Nutritional yeast mixed with warm water. Boom!
This video is exactly what I needed rn. Started doing pull ups and I was doing that bad form.
